Born and raised in Cincinnati, Mitch Painter learned the real estate business from his dad, an owner of a major construction company. The basics of building and the finer points of renovation provided a solid foundation, and Mitch launched his own business – rehabilitating homes – while enrolled at the University of Cincinnati. After graduation, he expanded his business while spreading three simple words: “We buy houses.” For property owners who’ve said, “I need to sell my house fast” and asked if the Painter twins bought homes that weren’t in tip-top shape, Mitch replied, “We buy pretty houses, and we buy ugly ones too.”
